How God raises Workmanship

How God raises Workmanship

Exodus 4:2; And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
Exodus 4:3; And He said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.

Introduction:
There’s a always a time when everyone will hear a call and every one born of human will answer some of the calls. There are 3 types of calls and invariably, everyone that’s been part of what we call human race has answered 1/2 of the three.

God mysteriously at work...

Four friends talk at the coffee hour at church. The skit is intended as a lead-in to a sermon or skit written by you! This is just a tickler to get others thinking. The full presentation of the message comes in your sermon or devotion.

Vaughn: I had an interesting day yesterday. I won a lawn mower.

Estelle: Wow. That’s great. I usually don’t enter contests, because I don’t think anybody wins those things anyway. Maybe I should start.

Julie: What kind of a contest was it?

Vaughn: It wasn’t really a contest. The new hardware store just down from me was having a grand opening. As I was going in I held the door for an elderly lady to go ahead of me, and when I went in the bells went off and balloons went up and people started clapping. I was the 1,000th customer for their new store.

Leon: I’ll bet the lady you so kindly let in wasn’t too happy with that.

Vaughn: Well, she did give me a few whacks with her purse. And I only went in because as I was driving by I remembered I needed a couple of double A batteries.

Leon: Thin threads. Sort of a variation on the stories of people who just barely miss their flights at an airport and then find out that the plane they missed crashed on takeoff.

Julie: I remember an incident something like that. My sister lost her husband years ago. Last January she finally decided to go on her own to Hawaii for a trip that they had always talked about doing together. While she was gone her house burned down.

Estelle: That’s terrible. Is this the unexpected thing? I mean, if she hadn’t gone to Hawaii her house would still be here?

Julie: No, not that. The thin thread is that the insurance adjuster that came to appraise the house was her old boyfriend from high school. He had never married, and now they are dating.

Vaughn: She might never have met up with him again except for the fire.

Leon: You know God has His hand on every aspect of our lives. Whatever happens is a part of his plan for us.

Estelle: And if it is in His plan whatever it is it’s for our good.

End!!!!

KNOW THE WOMAN FORM & FORMATION; EVE means ???

Eve: Hebrew meaning.. Know the Woman form and formation

THE HEBREW NAME OF EVE

The sound of "i" in “Eve” obscures the true meaning of Eve's Hebrew given name. The Hebrew name חַוָּה (chava) has a root connection to the verb לחיות (lichyot) “to live” and to words such as חַי (chai) and חַיִּים (chayim) communicating the idea of “life”. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to call Adam’s woman חַוָּה (chava), because one day she will become the mother of “all the living” כָּל־חָי (kol chai).

Eve's second name, אִשָּׁה (isha) (Gen. 2:23), means "woman" in Hebrew. Generally, it is considered to be the feminine form of the Hebrew word for "man", אִיש (ish). However, the real root which אִשָּׁה (isha) derives from is different from its male counterpart. The root comes from A.N.SH. (א.נ.ש) and means fragileness and delicacy. Interestingly, the word "fire", אֵשׁ (esh) also resonates in this beautifully complex name for "woman" in the Bible.
